Edgar L. Kempf, 76, of Shawnee, Kansas passed away on October 16, 2016. Ed was born July 14, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri to Leonard and Bertha Kempf. Ed is survived by his children; David (Terry) Kempf, and Tina (Jeff Pickett) Kempf, four grandchildren; Madelyn, Melissa, Anthony, and Aiden Kempf, brother, Lenny Kempf, longtime companion, Joan Brady and her entire family. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Anthony, John and Benny Kempf. He will be missed by his fun senior group of friends and many more.

Services

A Visitation is set for 5:00 - 8:00 PM, with a Rosary Recitation at 5:30 PM, Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas 66203. A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10:00 AM, Friday, October 21, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 11311 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas 66203. Burial will take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Lenexa, Kansas.
