Edith Loraine Hansen

Edith Loraine Hansen, 87, of Shawnee, passed away Friday, April 26th at Shawnee Gardens.

Edith was born January 23, 1926 to the late Claus and Anna Pope south of Paola, in Block, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Everett and a son, Dale Hansen.

Edith is survived by her four children, Gary Hansen and wife Stephenie; Janet Schaefer and husband Dennis; Mark Hansen and wife Donna; Beth Anderson; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 1 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Edith's life will follow the visitation at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
