Edith Sheahan

Edith V. Sheahan, 95, of Mission, Kansas, passed away February 8, 2013. She was born December15, 1917, in the Chicago, Illinois, area where she grew up.

Edith and her husband had two children and moved to the Kansas City area in the 1950's. She was a charter member of the St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Shawnee, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three siblings, and her husband, the late John F. Sheahan. She is survived by her children Joan and John; grandchildren, John and Margaret; and by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 14, 2013, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 5325 Nieman Road, Shawnee, Kansas. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., also at the church with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, Kansas.
