Edna Fay Warren, 95, passed away Dec. 19, 2016, with her son, Tim, by her side. She was born on Dec. 18, 1921, in Holden, Missouri and was raised by her loving mother, Margaret Noe, in what many would say were very difficult times. However, she never complained and transformed that hardship into lessons for a good life to her four wonderful children. She married Ralph Warren on Feb. 14, 1946, at the US Navy Chapel, Floyd Bennett Field in New York. Ralph preceded her in death in 2013. She led a full life with her family, friends, community and church. She is survived by her children Merry Carol Mance (Richard), John Warren (Debra), Tim Warren (Candice) and Maureen Lauderdale (Chris), seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, many nieces/nephews and her favorite brother-in-law Gary R. Smith and his wife Judy, whom she loved dearly. The family wants to thank Grace Hospice and the excellent staff at Brandon Woods of Alvamar in Lawrence, Kansas.
Visitation is Friday from 10:30-11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a Funeral Mass to immediately follow, starting at 11. Graveside services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to Grace Hospice 3715 SW 29th Street, Ste 100 Topeka, Kansas 66614.
