Edwin J. “Ed” Hutzenbuhler

Edwin J. Hutzenbuhler, 84, Roeland Park, Kansas passed away Friday, November 6, 2009 at the Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

Ed was born October 17, 1925 in Winona, Minnesota to Jerome and Florence (Welch) Hutzenbuhler and raised in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Ed married Elizabeth Wanner on November 26, 1949 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in LaCrosse. He was proud to serve in the United States Marine Corp during WWII. Ed spent his career in sales in the Midwest.

Ed leaves his wife, Elizabeth; six children, David (Angela), Linda, Barbara (Dave), Nancy (Patrick), Mary (Robert) and Anne (Bob); fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren, with another one on the way. Ed was one of seven children and is survived by four sisters, Jean (Earl), Joan, Norma (Jim) and Dorothy (Bud). He enjoyed his family and working in his yard. Ed was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Funeral Mass and Visitation

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2009 at St. Agnes Catholic Church; burial in the Leavenworth National Cemetery. Friends may call from 9-10:00 a.m. Monday at the Church.
