Eldon L. Askew, 86, passed away January 8, 2016. Eldon was born August 1, 1929 in Utica, Kansas to Lorin and Ada Askew. Eldon is survived by his son, Larry (Susanne) Askew, four grandchildren; Larry Askew, Chad Askew, Sally Miller, Katy Askew, 4 great-grandchildren, and one on the way. Eldon was preceded in death by his wife Sarah in 2006, daughter, Linda Askew, two brothers; Lorin and Hubert Askew.

Services

A Visitation is set for 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Monday, January 11, 2016 at Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Drive Shawnee, Kansas 66203. A Funeral Service is set for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Overland Park Church of God (Holiness) 6801 W. 74th Street Overland Park, Kansas 66204. Burial will take place at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Memorial Gardens.
