Elisa A. Garvin

Elisa A. Garvin, 78, passed away from cancer on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Hospice House in Kansas City, MO.

Elisa was born on November 4, 1942 in Guatemala City, Guatemala to Julio Dominguez and Adela Navas de Dominguez.

Elisa enjoyed being involved in the lives of her grandchildren and could be found cheering them on at all of their sports and school events.

Elisa will be deeply missed by her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her daughter Patricia Garvin DeBolt. She is survived by her sons Sean C. Garvin (Lisha) and Matthew R. Garvin (Jacqueline); her grandchildren Justin R. Nelson, Ashleigh N. Nelson, Lauren R. Nelson, Maria Garvin, Patrick Garvin and Miles Garvin; as well as great-grandchildren Jaiden and Mason.

Services will be held at Olivet Baptist Church, 4901 Mission Rd., Westwood, KS 66205 on Saturday, September 11, 2021. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. and memorial service from 11:00 to 12:00 noon. Burial will take place at a later date at Resurrection Cemetery, 8321 Quivira Rd., Lenexa, KS.

The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
