Elizabeth Ann Dobbe, fondly known as Betty, was born on April 22, 1937, in Plymouth, Kansas. She departed this life peacefully on July 9, 2024, in Lenexa, Kansas, at the age of 87, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Betty's life was rich with love and dedication. She worked diligently in sales within the wholesale gifts industry, bringing joy and elegance to many through her efforts. Her professional life was characterized by her integrity, hard work, and commitment to excellence.Betty's greatest passion lay in her family. She was an unwavering pillar of support, love, and wisdom to those she held dear. She also found great joy in the game of golf, which brought her relaxation and camaraderie throughout her life.
Preceding Betty in death were her beloved father, Edward Palmer; her cherished mother, Hazel Palmer; her dear brothers, Edward J. Palmer and Wayne Palmer; her sister-in-law, Fern Palmer; her loving sister, Ruth McKenzie; and her brother-in-law, Gale McKenzie.
Betty leaves behind her devoted spouse, Robert Dobbe; her loving children, Douglas Reed, Gina Estrada, and Tina Dooley; her stepdaughter, Robin Willett; nine treasured grandchildren; and one precious great-grandchild. Her family and friends will forever cherish her memory and carry her legacy in their hearts.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in Betty's honor on August 17, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Knox Presbyterian Church, located at 9595 W 95th Street, Overland Park, Kansas. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed at knoxchurch.org.
Betty's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to guide those who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
