Elizabeth L. Fansler, 76, of Shawnee Kansas passed away on January 2, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Elizabeth will be missed by her husband and soul mate of nearly 60 years. Elizabeth was born March 31, 1940 in Freeport, Illinois to Oscar and Frances Ruman. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Cecil, children; Monty (Deb Mcneese) Fansler, Bonnie Fansler, Scott (Sherri) Fansler, Alena (Brad) Wille, Tim (Tammy) Fansler, Shayna Richards, and Jackie (Andrew) Belt, sisters; Sarah (Steve) and Frances (Rick), fourteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Connie McCarthy, and sisters; Marilyn and Jeanne.

Services

A Visitation is set for 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM, Friday, January 6, 2017 at Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Drive Shawnee, Kansas 66203. A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 7, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 11311 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas 66203. A Private Family Burial will take place at Pleasant View Cemetery in Shawnee, Kansas.
