Elizabeth "Betty" Pretz Hoehn McCray 87, passed away January 30, 2014 at Avonlea Cottage of Olathe. Betty was born May 26, 1926 in Kansas City, Missouri to William A. and Rose Mary Pretz. Betty was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to bake, travel to Hawaii, shop and dance. Betty tap danced with Overland Park Dance Troop and Betty Tillotson Dance Studio, while entertaining many with her dancing talents. Betty is survived by her daughters; Diane (Eric) Soriano, Donna (Ken) Spangler, Cheri (Larry) Neal, son, Mike Hoehn, step-son; Michael (Jan) McCray, nine grandchildren; Dawn, Eric, Steve, Sarah, Zachary, Chris, Tim, Brian, and Craig, eleven great-grandchildren, sister, Genevieve Roe. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands; Donald Hoehn and Louis McCray, sisters; Frances Barrson and Rosemary Rieder and her brother Martin Conroy.

Services

A visitation has been scheduled from 2:00 - 4:00 PM, Sunday, February 2, 2014 at The Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Drive Shawnee, Kansas 66203 with a rosary at 3:30 PM. A Funeral Service has been scheduled for 10:30AM, Monday, February 3, 2014 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 13615 W 92nd Street Lenexa, Kansas 66215. Burial will take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Lenexa, Kansas.
