Elizabeth L. Nolte

Elizabeth (Betty) Louise Nolte, 99, passed away on the morning of Thursday, September 28th, 2023. Betty was born on June 19, 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of John and Margaret Neff.

A visitation will be held from 4:30 to 5:00 pm, Friday, October 6th, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 11311 Johnson Dr. Shawnee, Kansas, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 5:00 pm.

Betty will be laid to rest with her husband John Nolte at Mount Olivet Cemetery 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO at a later date.

Betty is survived by her two daughters, Janice and her family and also Cynthia and her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband John Joseph, who passed away on November 23, 2022 at age 95. They were married for 68 years. Additionally, preceded in death by son Frank Joseph; son John Joseph (Betty is also survived by John’s son, Casey Michael and family); and grandson Ryan Joseph

Betty and John enjoyed traveling around the world in their younger days, as John was a long-time employee of TWA.  Betty was a skilled hair dresser.  She also found happiness in keeping a lovely home and baking the best cherry pies.
