Elizabeth “Betty” Norris

Elizabeth (Betty) Traxler Norris born February 28, 1920, passed away December 4, 2012.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde, her parents, and two brothers. She is survived by two sons, Ken (Doris) Norris, of Aledo, Texas and Larry (Teresa) Norris of Overland Park, Kansas; by her pride and joy in life four grandchildren; Gretchen Norris, Jake Norris, Megan Hodges, and Camden Norris, and four great-grandchildren, Oliver and Charlotte Elizabeth Hodges, and Jack and Finnegan William Norris. She is also survived by a brother Lester Traxler and beloved extended family and friends.

Her sense of humor, wit, perseverance and faith were an inspiration to all whose paths she crossed.

A visitation will be from 9:30-11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Amos Family Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka, Kansas.

Contributions in Betty's memory may be made in lieu of flowers to Merriam Christian Church or Vitas Hospice.
