Elizabeth Rychel, 78, of Overland Park, KS passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Garden Terrace of Overland Park. Bette was born October 27, 1940 to the late Edward Rychel, Jr. and Ellenar Rychel in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Shawnee Mission High School in 1958. Bette was a longtime Kansas City resident and loved the Kansas City Chiefs. She was a member of the Kansas City Chiefs Red Coaters. Bette was a dedicated mother and grandmother who looked forward to attending her grandchildren's countless activities, she was always one of the first to arrive. She looked forward to gathering with family and friends to play games, she was always the one to beat and had a knack for winning, especially Cribbage. She is survived by her loving children, Kimberlee Anderson and husband Rick; Joe Elliott and wife Terri; a brother, Ned Rychel and wife Diane; three grandchildren, Eric Anderson and wife Talla; Christopher Anderson; and Amber Elliott; two great grandchildren, Isla Anderson and Kelsey Radford.
