Ellen Louise Harmon

Ellen Louise Paul Harmon 85, Merriam, KS surrounded by her family transitioned peacefully from life to light on December 31, 2014.

Louise was born February 18, 1929. Graduated from Ottawa High School and later became a K-State Wild Cat. She retired from the Turner School District Special Education Department in 1997.

She was a former member of the Ottawa Eastern Star, a life guard instructor and rescue swimmer. She was an avid animal lover, enjoyed horseback riding and was a devoted Royals fan.

Louise is survived by her children Sue Harmon Underwood Rollins, Mark Harmon and her grandchildren Travis Underwood, Andrea Harmon Hare, Ashley Harmon, Elizabeth Underwood, Andrew Harmon, Alicia Harmon, Travis Stockman and nine great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Amos Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS, Friday January 2, 2015 at 6 pm.
