Ellen W. Long-Marsh, 64, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away December 30, 2012, after a lengthy illness.
Ellen always had a positive attitude and never knew a stranger. Her life revolved around her friendships and caring for others and her animals. She was adventurous, and loved travel, camping and outdoor activities, cooking, singing and book reading. She was also an accomplished artist.
She worked for over 20 years for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Co. and Irene’s Steakhouse. She also worked at Walmart in Roeland Park for 11 years before retiring due to illness.
Ellen was predeceased by her mother and father and brother, Bob Grauberger, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband, Terry N. Marsh; sisters, Gail Grauberger, Kansas City, Missouri and Julie (Greg) Sandborn, Overland Park, Kansas; brother, Bill Grauberger of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; sister-in-law, Kathy Grauberger; and nieces and nephews, William, Erik, Sandi, Betty Jean and Jimi Joanna.
A visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2013, at Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory and a memorial service will start at 2:00 p.m.
