Emma Katherine Lawrukiewicz, Tamarac, passed away on September 7, 2024 in Pompano Beach, FL.
Katherine (Katie) was born in Danville, Illinois to Leslie and Hannah Snell on February 24, 1922. She received an Associates Degree from Panhandle A&M in Goodwell, Oklahoma.
She was married to John Reynolds from 1942-1945. Rick was born in 1943.
After living in Detroit, she moved to Kansas City. Working as a bookkeeper, she met and married Thomas Lawrukiewicz in 1951. Kathy was born in 1953. After 47 years of marriage, Katie moved to South Florida.
Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, sister Charlotte Sheldon and brothers Robert and Richard Snell, and grandson Kevin Barrett.
She is survived by her children Rick Reynolds of Denver and Kathy Barrett of New York; grandsons Bob and Matt Reynolds, Denver; her granddaughter Kristen Barrett, New York and her great grandchildren Henry, Wynn, Rider and Marin Reynolds of Denver and Henry (Jack) Benedict of New York.
Katie will be interred next to her loving husband in Kansas at a private ceremony.
