Emma A. Russell

Emma A. Russell, 87, a loving wife, mother of four sons, Robert Thomas, William, and James, and grandmother to three granddaughters, passed away April 18, 2011.

Emma was born June 25, 1923 in South Chicago, Illinois,m to Anton and Anna Slobodnik. She was united in marriage to her husband of 64 years Robert C. Russell.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for 63 years.

Visitation and Funeral Service

A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2011, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. A Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Shawnee, Kansas. Burial will follow the service in St. Joseph Cemetery, Shawnee, Kansas.
