Emmett Martin Becker, 83, passed away May 1, 2015 at Olathe Hospice House. Emmett was born September 20, 1931 in Seneca, Kansas to Lawrence and Leona (Waller) Becker. Emmett is survived by his children; Margaret Foster, Joseph Becker, Rita Eschmann, Cynthia Hoffman, and Douglas Becker, sisters, Felicia Kass, Patricia Zirger, and brother, Leo Becker. Emmett was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Julia, two sisters and four brothers. Emmett served in the United States Air Force. He retired after 40 years with National Cold Storage.

Services

The visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Drive Shawnee, Kansas 66203 with a Rosary starting at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10:30 AM, Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 11311 Johnson Drive Shawnee, Kansas 66203. Burial will take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
