Ernestene Elizabeth Feagan

Ernestene Elizabeth Foster Feagan (92), Overland Park, KS, passed away with daughter, Nicki Jo, and granddaughter, Courtney, by her side on October 8, 2015.

Born on June 21, 1923, in Farwell, Texas, Ernestene was a woman of wisdom and humor who enjoyed cooking for big family dinners. No one was a stranger to her, and her family of relatives and friends grew throughout her lifetime. Her mission was to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly on this earth.

Ernestene was preceded in death by her husband, Jack R. Feagan, Sr. and daughter, Gina Ashner. She is survived by two sisters, Marcia Bell and Barbara Trimble and a brother Nicki Foster; three children, Jack Feagan, Lonnie Feagan, and Nicki Jo Gullickson; grandchildren Kelley Patterson, Leslie Crocker, Chris Ashner, Kevin Feagan, Jacqueline Feagan-Davis, Lance Feagan, Erin Walsh, Bethany Chapman, Courtney Gallet, and Eric Gullickson; and thirteen great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17 at Nall Avenue Baptist Church, 6701 Nall Avenue, Prairie Village, KS.

Memorial contributions may be made to her beloved church, Nall Avenue Baptist of which she and her late husband were life-long members.
