Eunice J. Brown, 79, of Merriam, KS passed away Monday, January 6th, 202 at Vintage Place at Stanley.

Eunice was born December 14, 1940 to the late George and Ora Renfro in Neosho, MO.  On April 8, 1961 Eunice married Larry Brown, who she met at a drive-in in Joplin, MO.  She worked as a payroll administrator for Robbie Manufacturing before retiring at the young age of 72.  Eunice enjoyed bowling at Shawnee Bowl, where she made lifelong friends.  Later in life, Eunice looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren.  They enjoyed trips to the swimming pool and digging holes in her garden.

Eunice is survived by her loving husband Larry, of 58 years; a son Tracy Brown and his wife Paula; three grandsons, Winston Brown and wife Tina; Paul Brown and Trey Brown; and sister, Betty Newman.  She is preceded in death by a son, Kelly; a sister Norma Harris and brother, Wayne Rentfro.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, January 10th at the Amos Family Funeral Home in Shawnee.  A celebration of Eunice's life will follow the visitation at 2 p.m.
