Eva Marie (Davis) Sands, 91, died 2/19/14 in her home of 62 years in Shawnee, KS. She was a charter member of Hope Lutheran Church in Shawnee. Influenced by her parents, she was always one to shine God's light wherever there was a need. She was involved in many activities including Lutheran Braille Workers, LMA, LWML, choir, Altar Guild, mission quilting & helping at Trinity Lutheran Manor. She also enjoyed attending several senior groups & activities, bus trips and watching her backyard "livestock". She is now reunited with her husband Clarence, grandson Kevin White and great-grandson Gavin White. Missing her greatly are 3 daughters: Carol (Don) Custer, San Clemente, CA; Joan (Ben) Diaz, KCMO; Susan Wagner, Shawnee, KS; 2 granddaughters: Amy White, KCMO; Karissa Jones, Springfield, MO; many friends and extended family.

Visitation & Funeral Service

A visitation will be held Monday, Feb. 24th from 10 to 11 am at Hope Lutheran Church in Shawnee, KS. The funeral service will follow at 11 am. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Shawnee, KS.
