Evelyn Irene Heavin, born on May 24, 1931, in McCune, Kansas, peacefully passed away on August 1, 2024, in Olathe, Kansas, at the age of 93. Evelyn's journey through life was marked by her unwavering faith, dedication to her family, and an enduring spirit that touched the lives of many.

 Evelyn's career path was as diverse as it was impressive. She served her community as a dental assistant and chiropractor's office, later bringing her skills and compassion to Sears and 53 years with H&R Block. Her professional life was a testament to her commitment to helping others and her desire to make a meaningful impact.

 Outside of her work, Evelyn found joy and fulfillment in traveling with family and friends. Her travels were not just about seeing new places but about creating cherished memories with loved ones. Evelyn also had a deep and abiding passion for Bible study, nurturing her faith and sharing the wisdom she gained with those around her.

 Evelyn's life was deeply rooted in her faith. Faithful to her church, Bible study groups, and friends' groups, she was a source of inspiration and support to all who knew her. Her devotion to her beliefs and her kindness left an indelible mark on her community.

 Evelyn was preceded in death by her father, Harvey LaVern Baldwin; her mother, Inez Lorene Baldin; her husbands, Ray Elmo Wise and Rex Marvin Heavin; her brothers, Herman Eugene, Richard Glenn, Marvin Lynn, Allan Ray, Leon Charles, and John Roger; her sisters, Marjorie Helen, Leona Kay, and Lois Ann; and her beloved daughter, Eleanor Jump.

 She is survived by her brothers, Ralph Wendell, Robert Harvey, Gary Dale, and Randy Gail; her sisters, Jean Loree, Coralie June, and Linda Cheryl; her sons, Steve Wise, Erick Heavin, Phillip Wise, and Ernie Heavin; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Evelyn's legacy will live on through the love and memories she shared with her family and friends.

 Evelyn Irene Heavin's life was a testament to love, dedication, and faith. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
