Everett J. Stoll, 93, of Overland Park, passed away Saturday, Ocotober 8, 2016 at Garden Terrace of Overland Park.
Everett was born January 14, 1923 in Alma, Missouri to the late Edward and Meta Stoll. After graduating high school Everett attended Missouri State University before enlisting in the U.S. Army. He served during World War II in the European Theater.
After returning home from the war, Everett went to work for the American Hereford Association, where he met his wife, Mary Margie Stauffacher. They were married on May 15, 1948. Everett was an employee of the American Hereford Association for 41 years before retiring in January of 1988. Everett created a cattle management software for ranchers. He was a member of the Data Processing Managers Association where he served as President; he was also a former member of Overland Park Christian Church where he served as an Elder, Deacon and served on various committees. In 1998 Everett became a dedicated member of Hillcrest Christian Church.
Everett is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary Margie Stoll; three daughters, Cheryl DeMeyer; Donna Calvin and husband Corby; Debra Penix and husband James; 2 grandsons, Jeremy Penix; Stefan DeMeyer and wife Kristy; 5 granddaughters, Amy Randel and husband Dany; Johanna Oldaker and husband Brian; Brandi Pool and husband Richard; Chelle Schlemmer and husband Christopher; Stacy DeMeyer and husband Tom Luzader; 8 great grandsons, 8 great granddaughters, one great great grandson and one great great granddaughter. Everett is also preceded in death by 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
A celebration of Everett's life will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, October 16 at Hillcrest Christian Church, 11411 Quivira, Overland Park, KS 66210. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
