Eysail K. Hammar, 104, of Lenexa, KS passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Lakeview Village in Lenexa.  Eysail was born September 26, 1913 to the late Samuel and Catherine Coleman in Edwardville, KS.  During World War II, Eysail was proud to work as a welder in the Oakland Shipyards supporting the war effort.  She was a longtime member of Community Covenant Church.

Eysail is preceded in death by her 3 husbands, 2 daughters, 2 sons and a sister.  Eysail is survived by three daughters, Joyce Geurian, Margie Boyer, Eileen Hammar-Brock and husband Steve; a son, Paul Hammar and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 14 at the Amos Family Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow visitation at the funeral home. Eysail will be laid to rest in Pleasant View Cemetery.
