Ezequiel Fidel Fonseca

February 12, 1952 — September 6, 2021

Ezequiel Fidel Fonseca (Zeke), 69 of Raymore, Missouri and Shawnee, Kansas passed away with his family by his side September 6, 2021.

He is survived by daughter Nina Pendergraft, grandchildren, Curtis Mcniell, Micheala Davis, and Austin Pendergraft . Also survived by loving and caring daughter Marisa Fonseca, fiance Scott Wright, and his grandson, whom who referred "HIS SON" Julian (Morgan) Gidley. In addition, he is survived by brothers and sisters Daniel Jr (Linda) Fonseca, Rudy Fonseca (Sheri Hopkins) Charlie (Marlene) Maloy, Angela (Arnoldo) Fonseca, Cecilia Macato Fonseca, Rebecca (George) Blakley, Julie (Joe) Akhlaghi, David (Debbie) Fonseca along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by father, Daniel Sr., mother, Elvira Fonseca and mother of his daughters, Susi Fonseca.

Zeke loved and served his country in the Army for four years and was a member of Shawnee American Legion Post 327 and served on the Honor Guard. He was a dedicated Federal Government employee for 35 year at the HUD. He worked hard, played hard, loved watching Chiefs games, and enjoyed talking, hanging out with friends, and was known for being a bit of a storyteller, He enjoyed practicing the beliefs of Buddhism. Ezequiel spent the last few months living with his daughter Marisa and Scott, dogs Kimber and Dillon that would keep him warm. Multiple visits from his brothers Rudy and Daniel, sister in law Sheri and sister Julie came out to see him. He loved to keep busy by watching stand up comedians, and comedy movies, and his #1 channel Fox News. Loved requesting sweets for his daughter, Marisa to bake him, or drinks and grapes for Scott to get him, and spent his time calling siblings and his favorite person to talk to baby sister Rebecca.

He will be missed by numerous friends, family, sisters, brothers and will live forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at Amos Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas 66203 Thursday Sept 16, 2021 from 6-8 p.m.
