Fern L. Estes

Fern L. Estes, 80, Overland Park, KS passed away Monday, Nov. 10, 2008. Fern was born May 16, 1928 in Scranton, KS to William F. and Cora (Shields) Gabler. She was a 1946 graduate of Osawatomie High School. Fern is survived by her husband, Charles "Doug" Estes of the home; three children, Debbie (Bill) Mize, Overland Park, KS, Daryl (Pam) Estes, Overland Park, KS and Darlene (Bob) Covell, Shawnee, KS; seven grandchildren, Melissa (Colin) McDonald, Eric Covell, Nathan (Susan) Mize, Laura (Jeff) Hamons, Kevin Mize, Daniel (Stefanie) Estes, Andrea (Benny) Bowers and four great grandchildren, Connor McDonald, Parker McDonald, Elise Hamons and Kaitlyn Mize.

Visitation and Funeral Services

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life service at 12:00 noon on Saturday, Nov. 15 at the Overland Park Church of the Nazarene.
