Forest Keith Walker

Keith Walker, 83, of Roeland Park, Kansas passed away on January 20th, 2022.  He was born on March 16, 1938 in Reading, Pennsylvania, to Forest and Martha Walker.  A visitation will be held Thursday, January 27th from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Amos Family Funeral Home.  A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm.

Keith graduated from the University of Kansas with an MBA and BS in Mechanical Engineering. He served in the United States Army in the 1960s as a 1st Lieutenant, 4808 Ordnanceman.

After his honorable service, he started a 45+ years career, first as an engineer at Black & Veatch, followed as a home builder, and retired as a salesman of home improvements and siding for Continental Siding, where he achieved many sales awards.

Keith is survived by two sons, Mike and Brian (Anne); three grandchildren, Chase, Katherine and Alex; and a large network of friends.  He often said, “you can never have too many friends.” He loved traveling the world and spending time with his friends, where no story or adventure was too big.
