Frances Nichols Baldi

Frances Nichols Baldi, age 71, of Shawnee, Kansas, died June 20, 2023.

Frances was born October 3, 1951, in Columbia, Missouri to Lonnie Spencer Nichols and Velma Fern McKissick.

She was retired from the work she loved after being diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2021.

She enjoyed working in her yard and around her house; shopping – especially for bargains and gifts and for others.  She loved her neighborhood, the Chiefs, the Royals, and Kansas City.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carla Mae Lawson.

She is survived by her husband, William B. Baldi; son, David Sauer, Kansas City, Missouri; Step-children, Barbara (Jim) Ortiz, Cheryl (Dan) Nguyen, Eva (Brian) Gallager, Bill (Kay) Baldi, Jr., Kimberly (John) Vincent, and Sabrina (Seth) Potts; Sister, Gwendolyn Wilkinson, Ft. Myers, Florida; brothers, Lonnie Lee (Renee) Nichols, Columbia, Missouri, Tony (Rhonda) Nichols, Columbia, Missouri, and John (Annette) Nichols, Moberly, Missouri; Brother-in-Law, Mike Lawson; many step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life from 12-5 pm, July 1, 2023, at American Legion Post #327, 6521 Nieman Road, Shawnee, Kansas.
