Frances (Perry) L. Maynard, 94, passed away August 17, 2016. Perry was born July 21, 1922 in Holden, Mo. to Roy Carter and Helen Hobbs Carter. She married Floyd J. Maynard in 1942 and enjoyed 66 years of happy marriage. Together with Floyd, Perry enjoyed golfing, fishing, ballroom dancing, traveling and the Kansas City Royals. She was a member of Lambda Tau Delta philanthropic sorority. She served the community for many years in various volunteer capacities. She was preceded in death by her son Gary and her husband. Survivors include son Thomas Maynard (Barbara), Leawood, and daughter Jean Harbaugh (Jerry), North Carolina. Grandchildren, Jeff Maynard, California; Scott Maynard, Texas; Jason Harbaugh, North Carolina; Stephanie Graby, Virginia; Katherine Mueller, North Carolina; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services

A memorial service will be at 11:30 am, Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016 at Overland Park Christian Church, 7600 W. 75th St., Overland Park, KS 66204. Visitation will begin at 11:00 prior to the service.
