Frances A. (Neal) Waymire, 61, of Lawrence, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at her home.

Fran was born June 13, 1954 to the late Joe and Anna Bross and grew up in Shawnee, Kansas. Fran worked for AT&T for over 25 years before retiring in 2000. Later, Fran went to work as an office manager for Shelter Insurance. She was an active member of Kaw Prairie Community Church.

Fran is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, James Harvey Waymire; daughter, Julie Strain (Daryl); 2 sons, James R. Waymire (Leah); Joseph T. Waymire (Cassidy); 2 sisters, Joanne Berns (Bill); Judith Barbara; 5 grandchildren, Emily, Molly, Luke, Ellie, Lily and her beloved pet, Tony.

Celebration of Life Services

A Celebration of Fran's life will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 3 at Kaw Prairie Community Church, 9421 Meadow View Drive, Shawnee, Kansas 66227.

The family suggests memorial contributions in Fran's honor be made to the Lawrence Humane Society, 1805 E. 19th St., Lawrence, KS 66046.
