Frank “Ed” Englebrick

Frank Englebrick, 65, of Peculiar, MO, passed away from a short battle of cancer on August 16th, 2018 in Overland Park, KS.  He was born on August 1st, 1953 in Kansas City, KS to Frank and Pauline Englebrick.  Frank started as a volunteer at the Shawnee Fire Department in 1973.  In 1978, he started full-time as a fireman.  He worked his way up to Battalion Chief before retiring in June of 2005.  After retirement, he worked at Home Depot from 2007 to 2018.  Frank is preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Englebrick; and grandson, Scott Englebrick.  He is survived by his wife, Diana; son, Jeff (Wendy) Englebrick; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Pam Smotherman.

Visitation will be at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS, 66203 on Tuesday, August 21st from 9:00 -11:00 am.  A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM.
