Franklin F. Huff, 86, of Mission, KS, passed away January 19, 2015 in Overland Park, KS.

Frank is survived by his son, Gary Huff (Beverly); a daughter, Janet Watts (Alan); four grandchildren Michelle Huwe (Jason); Bryan Huff (Cristy); Jenny Huff; Randy Watts; his two great grandchildren, Vander Huff and Cassidy Huff. He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Patricia Jeanne Huff.

Frank was born on November 12, 1928 in Kansas City, MO to parents Russell and Hilda Huff. He graduated from Shawnee Mission High School. Frank moved to Parson, KS where he worked at Davis Paint. He met Pat who was working at the Parsons Bank and they were married on January 15, 1954 in Pacific Grove, CA where Frank was stationed in the army. After his honorable discharge from the army, he returned to the Kansas City area to raise his family, where he worked as a mail carrier at Shawnee Mission Post Office for 30 years. When he wasn't fishing or golfing, he loved to be outside "puttering around" with his bass boat, his cars, and yard. If anyone asks where Frank is , he's "Gone Fishin'"!

Funeral Services

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Fontana Cemetery in Fontana, KS.
