Fred R. Krentzel

Fred R. Krentzel, 82, Overland Park, KS passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at his home.

Fred was born June 29, 1936 in Great Bend, KS to Charley and Ellen Krentzel. He graduated Hudson High School and attended Wichita State University, before enlisting in the US Navy. Fred owned and operated Eagle Electronics in Hugoton, KS. Later, Fred started work with Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Co. After retirement in 1989, he worked for Missouri Gas Energy. He drove a school bus after his second retirement.

Fred is survived by his wife of 57 years, Clara Krentzel; two brothers, Marion (Barbara) Krentzel, McPherson, KS and Jim (Shari) Krentzel, Gardner, KS; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 10-11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. at the Hillcrest Christian Church, 11411 Quivira Rd, Overland Park, KS 66210.
