Gary Lilburn Hanson, 84, of Overland Park, Kansas died at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission on Sunday, January 30, 2022.

A visitation will be 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm Saturday, February 5, 2022 with a funeral service at 4:00 pm at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas 66203; burial in the Resurrection Cemetery. To view service live CLICK HERE

Gary was born on June 23, 1937 to Clyde and Margaret (Fansler) Hanson in Coffeyville, Kansas.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Hanson and his parents; two brothers, Steve Hanson and Clyde Victor Hanson.

Survivors include his children, Susan Hanson-Farris, Kathryn (Steve) Winegar, Michael (Sandy) Hanson, Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Hanson, Jeanine (Aaron) Mindrup; sister, Betty Jean Hanson; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
