Gary was and avid sports fan and enjoyed taking walks.
Gary was preceded in death by his father James E. Hooper. Survivors include his mother Sarah Katharine Hooper, Desoto, Kansas, a sister, Suzanna K. Hooper, Fayetteville, Arkansas; a brother Ronald (Terri) Hooper, Lenexa, Kansas; two nieces Alicia Oliver, Briana Hooper; two nephews Charles Oliver, Jack Hooper; two aunts Dorothy Kell, Hawaii; and Darlene Hooper, Council Bluffs, Iowa; and friends and staff of Birch Tree Community.
Graveside Service
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 11, 2010, at Pleaseant View Cemetery in Shawnee, Kansas.
