Gary Romel Mitchell, born March 16th,1957 went to be with the Lord Dec. 23rd,2014.

Born in Radford Va. He is the son of Peggy and Arthur Meadows and James (Jimmy) Mitchell. He is survived by wife Rosalind Mitchell,Overland Park,KS.,3 daughters Attilah Mitchell of Radford, VA, Gina Munoz of LaMirada,CA, Korshina Gibson of Denver,Co. six grandchildren, 2 brothers-in law, 2 aunts, several nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.

Gary attended Pulaski, Co. Schools. He had a wonderful personality with the gift of making people laugh and he never met a stranger. Later after moving to Kansas he went on to manage in 2 McDonald's restaurants, and was a successful business owner of a ServiceMaster Cleaning Service in Overland Park. Not only did he serve customers he served the Lord as a Head Usher, Children’s & Youth Minister. He led many to decisions for Christ in the 20:20 Ministry on the street. He was an intercessor and prayer warrior. He was a walking miracle having 2 successful Liver Transplants with whom we Give God the Glory.

Funeral Services

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 30th at Hope Alive Christian Center. Burial will follow in Pleasantview Cemetery in Shawnee, KS.
