Gary Kent Tolman, 58, Shawnee, Kansas, passed away Monday, November 10, 2014, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Overland Park, Kansas.

Gary was born November 13, 1955, in Van Nuys, California, to Max and Margene Tolman. He was employed with the JC Penny's Distribution Center for over 18 years. Gary was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Scotty Tolman, sister, Linda Oler, two nieces and two nephews. He is survived by his three sisters, Lorna Barnum, Roeland Park, Kansas, Janet Richey, Fresno, California and Joyce Sovic, Sandy, Utah; five nieces and eight nephews.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Visitation will be 9:00-10:00 a.m., Friday, November 14, 2014, at Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. burial in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Shawnee, Kansas.
