Genevieve L. Reeves

Genevieve Louise Reeves, 84, Lenexa, Kansas, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Friday, February 12, 2010 at Lakeview Village Care Center.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Kenneth. She is survived by two daughters Susie (Michael) McClurg, Paola, Kansas, and Carol (Michael) Petitjean, Newton, Kansas; one sister Wanda (Loren) Buckles, Topeka, Kansas; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Genevieve was all about family — caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren, they were her life.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lenexa United Methodist Church, 9138 Caenen Lake Road, Lenexa, Kansas 66215, where she had been a life member.

Visitation and Funeral

Visitation will be 4-6:00 p.m., Sunday February 14, 2010 at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 15, 2010 at Lenexa United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Lenexa Cemetery.
