George Patrick Mcdonald

George Patrick McDonald, 74, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away August 7, 2013.

Patrick was born August 21, 1938, to George and Mary McDonald. He graduated from St. Agnes Grade and High School and attended Donnelly College. He worked for the VF Corporation (Lee Jeans) for 28 years. He served 5 years in the United States Army and Army Reserves.

Patrick was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane, parents, George and Mary McDonald, step-mother, Edith McDonald, and sister, Gail Beverlin. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nancy, grand-daughter, Aislinn Bird, and beloved yorkie, Millie.

Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 10, 2013, at St. Joseph Church, 11311 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas. Funeral to follow at 10:30 a.m., at St. Joseph Church with burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, Kansas.
