George Scott, 85, of Prairie Village, passed away Friday, February 21 at St. Luke's Hospice House in Kansas City.

George was born March 28, 1928 to the late George and Clara Scott in Kansas City, Missouri.

George worked in the Shop for Western Electric for over 30 years where he was a member of CWA. George volunteered his time as a Head Umpire for 3 & 2 Baseball and girls softball. He enjoyed playing golf with his fellow retirees from CWA at the Gardner Golf Course. George is preceded in death by his wife, Norma in 1994; a daughter, Sandy Campbell in 2011. He is survived by his son, Kevin Scott and daughter in law, Margie Lakin.

Memorial Visitation and Contributions

A memorial visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 27 at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donors choice in George's honor.
