Geraldine Frances (Roecker) Hoover, 97, of Shawnee KS died June 18, 2015. She was born in Blackwell, OK to the late Charles and Edna (Usher) Powers.

Jerri lived in Independence, KS for many years. Before opening the Glass House Floral and Gift Shop, she worked for the city of Independence and county sheriff.

She was preceded in death by husband, John Hoover and great grandson, Tyler Branum.

Jerri is survived by children, Stephen Roecker (Jan), Patricia Branum (Mike); grandchildren, Tiffany, Tressa, Jed, Darren, Denise and great granddaughter Calloway Wickham.

Services

Funeral services will be at 10:00am Tuesday, June 23, at the Amos Family Funeral Home in Shawnee, KS with visitation starting at 9:00am. Burial and graveside services will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Independence, KS Tuesday afternoon, approximately 2:30 p.m.
