Gerard E. Burns

Jerry Burns, 52, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away peacefully in his home, Thursday, January 21, 2010.

Jerry is remembered as a deeply devoted husband and father and a dedicated professional always ready to assist friends and family.

Jerry leaves his wife, Linda, of 19 years; stepson, Scott (Angie) Schulze and stepdaughter, Sarah (AJ) Eller; 2 grandchildren, Hannah and Brayden Schulze and 1 expectant grandchild, Noah Eller. Jerry was preceded in death by his father Edward and is survived by his mother Betty, sister Michelle and brother Kevin.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 25, 2010, from 6-8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Kansas City, Missouri, followed by the committal service to be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Lenexa, Kansas.
