August 16, 1919 — October 7, 2012

Gertrude, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, was born August 16, 1919 and passed away at her home in Lenexa, KS on Sunday October 7, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ivan Davis and John Green, one son Dale Davis, 7 brothers and 4 sisters. She is survived by one son Neal Davis of Belton, MO, two daughters, Judy (George) Pickering of Lenexa, KS, and Janice Brandt (Garry Marshall) of Bellevue, WA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and one sister, Betty Tatum of Lenexa, KS. She is treasured by her family, many nieces, nephews, and church friends who affectionately refer to her as Grandma Gertie.

Visitation Thursday October 11th at 6-8 p.m. and services Friday October 12th at 11:00 a.m. both at Overland Park First Assembly of God at 7700 W 75th Overland Park, KS. Burial in the National Cemetery in Springfield, MO on Monday October 15th at 1:00pm.
