Glendale Whitesell

Glen Whitesell, 80, of Kansas City, KS, passed away, Wednesday, October 9, 2019.

Glen was born May 9, 1939 in Alma, Arkansas to Henry and Viola Whitesell.  He married Shirley Hines on March 2, 1962. She preceded him in death on November 3, 2012.  He was an over the road truck driver, retiring from USF Holland in 2012.

He is survived by his Children, Glenna Dean Caldwell, Laura Ann Romeo, Sandra LeAnne Clark, Johnny Wayne Whitesell, and James Steven Whitesell; a sister, Merry Sommers, 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday October 14, 2019 at 12:30 p.m., followed by funeral services at 1:30 p.m., at the Amos Family Funeral Home with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.
