Glenn Dudley Eastwood

Glenn (aka Buddy) Dudley Eastwood Jr., 91, of Overland Park, KS, passed away on December 15, 2014. He was born on September 29, 1923 to Glenn and Mary Eastwood in Tulsa, OK, where he grew up and went to school. He served in the Army Air Corps of WWII and helped assemble CT13 gliders. He was a salesman for Utility Equipment and Causco where he had many fond memories of co-workers, friends, and of being the company Santa Claus. Buddy was funny, charming, and loving. He was a friend to many and knew no strangers. He was a great story teller, and visits to Buddy would be extended due to just one more story.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family including his wife Evelyn; sons: Stanley (Cheryl), David (Shauna), and Robert; grandchildren: Catherine (Travis), Kelly, Andrew (Cinda), and Jacob; great-grandchildren: Annalise and Coraline. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Ruth.

Services will be on Monday, December 22 at Overland Park Christian Church, 7600 W. 75th St., OP, KS (913) 677-4646, Visitation at 10:00, Service at 11:00; Burial at Leavenworth National Cemetery at 2:30.
