Gloria Dorienne Wildman Hasty Tobias, 89, of Omaha, Nebraska, died March 17, 2016 in Shawnee Mission, KS.
She was born December 7, 1926 in McCook, NE, daughter of Bernice Wildman Yoos and Clifford Wildman, and brought up lovingly by her grandmother, Leona Stevens.
Gloria loved working as a dental assistant for Bernard Turkel, DDS for many years.
She had been a member of Hanscom Park and Rockbrook Methodist Churches where she served women's ministry faithfully and sang in choirs. She will be remembered for her enthusiastic hospitality, quick wit, and love of travel - especially to the Rio Grande Valley in southern Texas where she often did charity work for a dental clinic in Nuevo Progreso, Mexico in her retirement years.
Surviving are son, Steve Hasty of Lenexa, KS and family, step-daughters Trudy Salkin and Tracy Hicks and families, as well as her favorite cousin, Vadis Madden of Norton, KS and family.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Dean S. Hasty, son, David D. Hasty and husband, George G. Tobias.
Memorial will be held at a future date with Interment to follow in the Westlawn-Hillcrest & Bohemian National Cemeteries, Omaha, NE.
