Greydon Eldo Hersh

Greydon Eldo Hersh, 91, of Merriam, KS passed away in her sleep on Thursday, September 13, 2018. Visitation will be held Tuesday, from 9 to 10 a.m. September 18, 2018 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Followed by a Funeral Service at 10 a.m.

Greydon was born November 11, 1926 in Kansas City, Kansas to William and Clara Laaser. She met Leonard R. Hersh and they were married September 23, 1952, their marriage which lasted 64 years until his death. Together they raised four boys. Through her life there where many adventures from attending sporting events for the boys and traveling all 50 states, Europe and Asia.  She compiled many wonderful memories. She was an avid KU basketball fan, watching the games and cheering them on to the National Championships in 1988 and 2008. She leaves behind sons Leonard Jr. and his wife Joyce; David and his wife Barbara; James and his wife Michelle, and Karl. Seven grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be sorely missed. Memorial contribution may be made to Shawnee United Methodist Church 10700 Johnson Dive, Shawnee, KS 66203
