Harold “Lee” Lane

Lee Lane, 61, of Kansas City, KS, passed away on March 15, 2019. He was born on November 11, 1957, in Clinton, MO, to Charles Lane and Winifred (Lane) Hawkes. Lee was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roger David Lane. He is survived by his siblings; Julia "Judi" M. Carpenter (Gene) of Oklahoma City, OK, Charles "Dennis" Lane of Kansas City, KS, Richard "Rick" Keith Lane (Elle) of Overland Park, KS, Patricia "Kathy" K. Cochran (Ken McDonald) of Belton, MO, Lisa S. Rippee of Belton, MO; daughter, Madison Lane.

Lee went to JC Harmon High School in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a carpet layer by trade, though his real love was music. Lee played guitar in many garage bands through the years, and formed Chaos, a pop/rock band popular in the KC club scene and surrounding cities in the 80s. Lee had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. He loved the great outdoors and basically anything that included "getting his tan on." Lee was diagnosed with the rare Primary Progressive MS in the 90s and after a long fight, succumbed to the effects of this disease.
