Harold J. Shea

Harold J. Shea, 80, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away, Tuesday, February 12, 2013.

Harold was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and has lived in Shawnee since 1960. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He worked as Director of Labor Relations for the Louis Dreyfus Corporation and retired in 1992. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn; sons, Michael Shea, Steven Shea, Matthew Shea, and Patrick Shea; a daughter, Mary Patricia Nachbar; a sister, Sheila Burns; a brother, Tim Shea; 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 14, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory where the Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Friday, February 15, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
