Helen E. Barrington

Helen E. Barrington, 90, passed away on August 16, 2019.  She was born, May 4, 1929, in Kansas City, Kansas.  She was the daughter of D.A. and Dee Ghrist.  She
attended the University of Kansas and was a life member of the alumnae association.  She was a member of the Junior League and Chapter HE of P.E.O.  She was also a member of San Pedro Presbyterian Church.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph T. Barrington; her son, David Brunk; and her daughter, Elaine Kay Weaver.  She is survived by her grandson, Austin Brunk, a granddaughter, Colleen Reynolds Jones, and grandsons Timothy and Jason Weaver.  She is also survived by her step-daughter, Katherine Bagby, and step-son, Douglas Barrington and his wife Cheri.  Helen is survived by her sister Edith Johnson, and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  A special thanks goes to her niece, DeeAnna Bray, for her special love and attention these past several years!
